Reservation Policies
Booking and Payment

The room is let to you for the period stated on the booking form which you, the Guest complete online. The arrival date of the booking cannot be moved forward after the booking is confirmed based on changes in schedule. Extensions are subject to availability and approval.

The Guest/s shall not sublet or assign the room, property or any part of it.

The booking is not secure or confirmed until full payment is received.

Rental is billed in advance thereafter starting at the end of the 3 nights. Failure to make payment in accordance with this schedule may result in cancellation of your booking and removal of you from the property.

All payments must be made to Marulan Stayz either via Online Booking or by arrangement with the Property Manager.

Full payment upfront is required at the time of booking.

Credit cards are accepted and a service fee of 2.9% inc GST (Bankcard, MasterCard, VISA).

Min stay of 3 nights. Bookings may not be taken if considered to be too far in advance for the arrival date.
Number of persons accommodated
The maximum number of persons that may be accommodated at the property is specified in your booking confirmation. Excess persons will be required to vacate the property or pay the additional fees if appropriate bedding is available at the property.
Arrival & Keys & Lock Outs

All Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys/remote controls and call fees are payable if a replacement key is required.

All keys/remote controls are to be returned at time of check out.

Loss of or fail to return keys incurs a fee of $50 inc GST for each key and $100 for each remote. Additional Locksmith, key replacement costs or remote-control replacement costs will be passed on to the Guest/s renting the property.

Lock out fee and to provide another set of keys at the property $50. Additional Locksmith, key replacement costs or remote-control replacement costs will be passed on to the Guest/s renting the property.

If you lock your keys in the apartment out of hours, an agent may be available to attend. Please be aware that this will incur an after hours call out fee of $66.00. If an agent is unable to attend and a locksmith is required, you will be charged the locksmith’s costs.

Guest/s may collect the keys after 2pm on the Arrival Date from Property Manager, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to arrival.

Photo ID & credit card details from the Guest/s staying in the property is also required when collecting keys. The Property Manager will take a photo of your ID at the time of check-in.

Check in on arrival prior to 2pm can be arranged if available.

Arrival after 8 pm incurs a late check in fee of $25 inc GST.
Security Deposit and Property Damage
A Security Deposit of equivalent to 1 weeks stay will be required by Marulan Stayz prior to or on arrival for bookings greater than 3 weeks, the amount of security deposit may vary.
Marulan Stayz has the authority to deduct monies from the Security Deposit or credit card to remedy any damage, excess cleaning, missing items, excess utilities caused by the tenant, or to invoice by email, fax or post for immediate payment.
Furniture and effects at the Property
The Guest/s/s may not remove any of the furniture or effects from the property and will be liable for any furniture or effects damaged or missing from the property. Furniture must be returned to its original position.
Departure

The property must be vacated by the Guest/s and keys returned to Marulan Stayz or left in the property before 10:00 am on the Departure Date.

Failure to depart will authorise Marulan Stayz to levy additional charges for rental and costs incurred.

When leaving the apartment or checking out please insure the property is left in a clean condition with your excess rubbish removed and all kitchen items washed and put back in the appropriate places. Failure do so may incur extra charges.
